The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, is currently in the Netherlands for the Invictus Games. The athletic competition is for former service members who have been injured in the line of duty. The Prince, a former British Army soldier, founded the event eight years ago.
Meghan, Harry’s wife, accompanied him to the event. Last Thursday, the two paid a visit to the United Kingdom to meet with Queen Elizabeth II before continuing on to the Netherlands.
Harry has met with many of those participating in the games, including representatives from Australia. They gave him a pair of “budgie smugglers,” which are Speedo-style, snug swimming briefs popular in Australia.
“Now that the Duke of Sussex is living in California, Team Australia thought it appropriate to continue the tradition of gifting stunning new budgie smugglers to the Duke,” the Aussie team wrote on Twitter.

The “tradition” remark refers to the fact that this isn’t the first time Australia has given the Prince “budgie smugglers.” He is shown below with a pair he received at the 2018 Invictus Games in Sydney.
